Sharpen Your Kitchen Skills at Farm Fresh Culinary Workshops

The Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) is no longer accepting applications for workshops to be held during the 2026 spring and summer breaks. Please check back for applications for the 2027 workshops. The following information is applicable to the 2027 workshops as well as this year's:

Workshops are for school district chefs, dietitians, menu planners, and kitchen managers working in the National School Lunch Program.
Each school district may apply to enroll two to four participants. Participants must attend together and be committed to transferring skills and information from the course to teach peers and enhance processes within their district.
Workshops include five exciting days of in-person cooking demonstrations, hands-on activities, and classroom instruction.
Participants will earn 30 continuing education hours from the School Nutrition Association

To file a program discrimination complaint, a Complainant should complete a Form AD-3027, USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form which can be obtained online at: https://www.usda.gov/sites/default/files/documents/ad-3027.pdf, from any USDA office, by calling (866) 632-9992, or by writing a letter addressed to USDA. The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
