2023-2024 School Operations Plans

Administrative Review (AR) Schedule

TDA conducts Administrative Reviews (ARs) on contracting entities (CEs) that self-operate their child nutrition programs on a five-year cycle. TDA conducts ARs on CEs that utilize a Food Service Management Company (FSMC) to operate their child nutrition programs on a three-year cycle. The CEs that are scheduled for an AR in the 2023-2024 program year are posted on this page in the When is My Review? Box. For guidance, tutorials, forms, information, and more, visit the Administrative Review page.

WATCH: School Operations Onsite for an Administrative Review

TDA Food and Nutrition and the ESC Region 11 Content Specialist developed a short instructional video to help schools prepare for an Administrative Review. The video takes viewers onsite as school nutrition employees at Cannon Elementary School in Grapevine-Colleyville ISD answer questions representative of those asked during an actual review. This exciting new resource makes it easy to get a clear understanding of what to expect in an Administrative Review conducted by TDA. There are two versions -- the full-length video with additional background and a condensed version that focuses on the on-site portion of the review. Clink the links below to view.
